I made these cupcakes for my friend Lisa's baby shower. Lisa ended up having her baby 5 weeks early and "little" Ava still weighed in at almost 7 lbs! Dang! Can you imagine how much she would have weighed if she had gone full term!? Congrats Lisa and Richard!!

These cuties were requested by my sweet teacher friend, Beth, who calls her class her "bunch". They were super fun to make! Thanks Beth for the great idea!
Halloween
This year for Halloween we had a party for my daughter's friends (and the adults had fun too!). As long as I can remember, decorated sweets have been part of every holiday in my family and I hope to pass on that tradition to Ella. I set up a "decorate your own sugar cookie" table for the kids but it turned out to be mostly "eat the sprinkles and icing by the handful" table. I'm grateful for the wonderful friends and family that we have to share our lives with and keep them in my prayers each day.
